CRK replacement clip v1.1 Microblast

Machined CRK replacement pocket clip   

These fit any CRK folder other than the Mnandi. This listing is for ONE clip of the LIGHTER FINISH and is a bright micro peened finish similar to the CRK “glass blast” finish.  The actual media product I use is called “Microblast” which is made by ZirPro.  Both finishes I do are shown for comparison sake only.  

I choose microblast as my media because I really love the silky look and feel it accomplishes.  It is not a perfect match for CRKs bead blast, which they call glass blast.  They are both a “peened finish” which are a bright & uniform, silvery finish - as opposed to the dark finish of an aluminum oxide blast. (CRK calls their Aluminum Oxide finish “sand blast.”)  I currently own 11 CRK knives, zero of which are glass blast.  Personally, I do not like glass blast, Sam I Am.  I like AO blast in hand.  

Lastly I want to say I don’t make these clips to sell them.  I designed and make these clips for myself.  But because Nice  Guy Machine Co. is the way I make my living I should use my shop time for that purpose.  So I sell them occasionally to compensate for my design work and setup time.  I buy a knife or two a year and I make these clips when that happens.  I’ve also begun using them on the Sleeper prybars (Boris & Doris) which means that they get prioritized for those more often than they get sold standalone.
